(Translator's note: This post is a continuation of a previous entry.)
I: You may be young biologically, but you have a very mature aura and certainly carry yourself well.
EM: I'm often told that I don't act my age. Even my parents told me I talk way older than I am for as long as I can remember.
I: What were you like when you were younger?
EM: I liked to show off. When I was young, I'd often be taking the initiative to talk with many people.
I: 'Talking with many people' meaning men?
EM: Right and I've been doing it forever. There were many times in school where I was the one who made a love confession.
I: That's surprisingly adult-like.
EM: Of course when I was confessing my love I was very nervous, but I felt the need to express how I truly felt.
I: With your looks and friendly personality, you surely must be very popular.
EM: Yea, I guess—at least back when I was in school and this is just my opinion anyway.
I: You've been popular with men for the majority of your adult life so far! When did it begin?
EM: The moment I entered grade school. The rumor mill went wild about a really cute girl who just entered school and many people from neighboring classes came to check me out (Translator's note: whoa.)
I: Your school life seriously sounds like an idyll manga classroom romance story. How did it feel to be the center of attention?
EM: Super happy and slightly embarrassed.
I: You essentially were the unobtainable treasure that many of your male classmates unsuccessfully lusted after.
EM: I was the one who mainly did the confessing so it wasn't really like that.
I: Did you confess to the person who took away your maidenhood?
EM: That time he confessed to me. He actually was in a higher grade.
I: How long were you two together before you had sex?
EM: About half a year. He had experience and he waiting until I was ready. He invited me to his house and I already associated home with sex so I planned ahead by wearing cute lingerie.
I: Was there anyone else home?
EM: His younger brother was in the room next door. I was worried about making noise and my boyfriend was making sure I felt comfortable. My first time was a success in every sense of the word. My second time however, was not so great.
I: How many times did it take before you really started to enjoy having sex?
EM: I was orgasming regularly by the time I was in high school.
I: How many partners have you had since then?
EM: Seven, and they've all been serious relationships. I don't do one-night-stands.
I: What kind of guy do you like to date?
EM: I fall in love pretty easily, but it's less about looks and more about how I think we can connect. Feelings are important. That's why I've been in so many relationships already—all the guys were not what I've been looking for. Most of my boyfriends have been older than me with the oldest being 35. Although I don't usually have a certain age preference, I do feel that I learn more when I'm with older men.
I: How many of those seven did you confess to?
EM: About half.
I: By the way, were you ever turned down?
EM: Yea, twice when I was still in school and I'm determined now to let that happen again.
I: When splitting up, who usually breaks the ice?
EM: Half and half. I always have felt regret if he's the one who ends it with me.
I: It sounds like you hate to lose. How are you when you're in a relationship?
EM: I'm super sweet. When it's just us, I'm very clingy and always reply to emails right away.
I: It's nice to have you hear looking so wonderful and getting to know more about you. Lastly, please tell us your goals as an AV star.
EM: I'm 19 now and I still see myself continuing this work for at least the next ten years. Kaho Kasumi, whom I look up to immensely belongs to the same agency as me and has been in the industry for ten years now and I plan to follow in her footsteps.

(Translator's note: Erika Momotani sounds to have had a blast when she was in school. It's a real eye-opener to read about an AV star who wasn't the 'shy girl back in school who still is shy today but can go wild in front of a camera'. She was the 'it' girl and she knew it yet still had balls of steel to be the one confessing love (which is a major thing for young Japanese people—if you want to date someone, you generally 'confess' first!).)
