Ayami Shunka Interview Volume 3

Famous Japanese AV Star Interviews - Original Japanese Date: June 29th, 2013
English Translation Published: June 1st, 2014

Popular Japanese AV star Ayami Shunka known for her innocent demeanor mixed with a body that is anything but sits down for a three part interview.

(Translator's note: This post is a continuation of a previous entry.)

A beautiful and pure soul who's also an active Japanese AV star that admits its hard to like people and become attached to them.

Interviewer: So who's your type?

Ayami Shunka: I like guys who have mature personalities. I like my guys serious and certainly not gaudy.

I: That's unexpected. I would've thought you liked the gaudy ones.

AS: I used to be somewhat of a gyaru so that's what I thought myself at first, but it's not what I gravitate towards nowadays. I guess this may kinda be why I have an issue finding boyfriends who stick longer than a few weeks or a maybe a month.

I: Do you prefer guys around your age?

AS: Older than me is better. I don't like guys around my age.

I: Do you want to be spoiled by an older man?
AS: Not at all, no!

I: I thought most women liked being spoiled.

AS: I'll only want to meet someone when I mean it and I won't even say that to a crush. Heck, I don't think I can even ask someone I'm not fond of to meet up. I'm scared to think what they may be thinking about me.

I: You really are an innocent woman.

AS: You got that right!

I: Well, what do you do on your days off?

AS: Watch DVDs, go shopping, and hang out with friends. I spend a lot of time with friends.

I: What kind of DVDs do you watch?
AS: Lots of anime like “Sgt. Frog.” I recently borrowed Sailor Moon and GeGeGe no Kitaro. I also like Naruto and Crayon Shin-chan.

I: That's unexpectedly what lots of guys like.

AS: I read CoroCoro Comics and Rockman is also something I like.

I: I didn't expect that.

AS: I hate many male friends in grade school. There I played a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh! and escaped into anime. Watching Sgt. Frog made me happy. That's why I like comics like that.

I: You're not into love stories?

AS: In spite of being somewhat of a princess, I don't really read them.

(Translator's note: I'm sure readers out there are very acquainted with Ayami Shunka's taste in anime and manga.)
