Join us with a perverted talk with a magnificently raunchy woman who walks the walk. In spite of her tough as nails hardcore demeanor, she does have some rather peculiar worries. Raise your erections and read on as we interview the charismatic Japanese AV star Uta Kohaku!
Asagei Fuzoku: You seemed to have been quite busy with fan meet-and-greets going by the activity on your blog.
Uta Kohaku: That's right. I got another one coming up real soon again and some of these events aren't even tied into my adult film releases.
AF: How are the fans at these events?
UK: Lively...very lively I'd say. I get along well with my fans. We're all one big family. That's how I treat them and how they treat me. Love, however, is a bit harder to grasp.
AF: Go on...
UK: My fans say a lot of nice things, but at the end of the day, they're mainly men. Sometimes what they say is not exactly female friendly.
Uta Kohaku makes a confession.
AF: You looked much different when you had your AV debut.
UK: Totally different than now for sure. I was a total darkened gyaru back then.
AF: As dark as they come!
UK: Myu, my manager told me to drop the tan, dye my hair, and get rid of the gaudy nail art. She also told me to go easy on the makeup. I was totally against this at first, but Myu has been in the industry for so long and I wanted to match her success so I eventually gave in. This led to me being 'discovered' after appearing in a big audition title early on in my career.
AF: 'Discovered', huh?
UK: My life sure did change. This was around the time I started having offers to appear in my own titles. I went with Uta Kohaku at first. In fact, that was the name that was suggested to me. However, I was later told I looked a lot like Atsuko Maeda (she really does!). There was even a time when I was in Akihabara and some school students on a field strip mistook me for her.
AF: That sounds really cool. I take it you started receiving more job offers?
UK: I've been working nonstop lately. 27 days a month I'll be going from studio to studio for shoots.
(Translator's note: She really does resemble Atsuko Maeda. In fact, it's safe to say Uta Kohaku is even better-looking than the former AKB48'er. Uta mentions she was straight up gyaru during her AV debut, but early box cover art somewhat disagrees. Granted, she was dark and gaudier than she is now, but she wasn't as gyaru as say...Mana Izumi.)
